Underperforming and inconsistency is a mental game barrier.

If you can do something in training with little pressure but you’re not doing it in games when you're under more pressure, it’s a mindset issue, not a physical issue.

There is so much more to hockey than just skills and running.

You've probably tried watching youtube videos, generic fitness workouts, HIIT gym classes and 5km's runs but understand this...

Simply working on your fitness and practicing your skills is NOT going to solve the problem of inconsistency and underperforming.

If you don’t do any mental training your fears and doubts will get in the way of your performance. 

Working on your mental game does NOT make you weak, it makes you better.

Working hard on the wrong things just leads to niggles, re-occuring injuries and the risk of burning yourself out in the process.

Going for 5km runs and sprinting is not enough to get you fit for hockey.

In fact, doing this could lead to injury issues especially as most players don’t have the foundations of mobility, stability and strength to handle the impact that hockey demands.

Then there's the muscular imbalances which are created from playing hockey over many year, which most players never address, until it is too late, which often leads to surgery and time away from playing (and a lot of FOMO).

And you learn to just accept it.

You ignore niggles, hoping they just go away. 

Maybe they do, but they come back because you don’t deal with the root cause of the problem.

It’s like hitting your head against the wall when you have a headache.

Re-occurring injuries are more of a mindset issue than a physical issue because you don’t listen to your body and you don't give it what it needs.

You feel like you always have to work harder than others because you’re not as good as them.

You feel guilty for resting and you don’t take your recovery seriously. 

You do some random workouts because you don’t have a structured and progressive program to make sure you peak at the right time (when it matters most).

You also don’t have any recovery strategies to prevent injury, which is essential to extend how long you can play competitively for, especially as you get older.

You have to learn to train smarter if you want to be the best version of yourself.
The physical stuff is easy when you have the right mindset. 

But if your self talk is negative and you only notice the mistakes you make and dwell on them for ages, never giving yourself credit for the good things you do, it will affect your confidence.

It’s that same old negative voice on repeat. 

And it's draining.

No amount of physical training will unlock this negative cycle of thinking, which just makes it much harder to get to where you want to be.

To shift this subconscious pattern you need to change from the inside out.

You are the problem, but you are also the solution.

You need to tap into a deeper level of awareness that you don't even realise has been holding you back - your past.

How long do I get access to the training and community for? 12 months.

What level do I need to be playing to join? There is no minimum level required, any hockey player that wants to improve their game can join, although we do recommend that you have at least 3 years of playing experience to get the most out of the training.

What equipment do I need for the workouts? If you have access to a gym you should have everything you need. However if you are going to be training at home, then we recommend some dumbbells, resistance bands, a stability ball, a foam roller and a chin-up bar to get the most out of the workouts.

What support do I get? This is an online course which gives you a step by step system to follow, including video training in the members area and PDF guidelines. You also get access to the community to learn from others, however if you get stuck and have any question you can submit a support question to get help.

Can I upgrade to get access to coaching? Our coaching program has limited spots and is by application only. If we have place in our coaching program we will open up a limited number of spots at certain times of the year.
